Error messages

If the Post an Entry form was not fully completed or you were editing your published entry and edits did not meet field standards - example - numbers in an email field or a link that is not a full URL in the website field, the site will flag your entry with an error message:

That error message tells you there is a problem, but not where it is. To find where the error or errors are, scroll down the page, and the site will show you which field or fields that have failed.  The field will be highlighted in red:

Fix the highlighted fields and click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom.  If you are not sure what the error is, click on the tooltip ? icon at that field to check you are meeting the format requirements for that field.

Examples:

• The field wasn't filled out
• Too much text - look at the numbers of characters in the field and make sure you're not exceeding them
• Email address not meeting standard email formatting  Această adresă de email este protejată contra spambots. Trebuie să activați JavaScript pentru a o vedea.  check for spaces - foo @foo.com or other errors
• Text in numbers fields
• Picture missing or too large a file
• Telephone number not in the correct format

When you have obtained a blue message 'The entry was successfully saved', scroll to the bottom and click on the BACK button to see how it will look to public visitors after it has been reviewed and approved by Dinspectru.Ro staff.
