Please read this page through fully before beginning to complete Post an Ad form. While the form has tooltips - see the little black ? icon - that provide explanatory information at nearly every field, this page gives you a broad overview of all of the information you will need, as well as how to submit your application and edit the page it publishes. It is strongly recommended that you complete this process on a laptop or desktop using a fully patched, up-to-date browser.
When you submit your form, if any of the required fields - marked with an * - are not completed or if any field is incorrectly completed, the form will not submit your Entry. If that happens, please read the page How to Troubleshoot Errors.
Before you begin
- When you complete the Post an Ad form, it creates an entry. To find it, go to ou can then edit that entry until you are completely happy with it.
- Your need to complete the form only once. After your entry is created, if you want to change something, edit your entry. Do not return to the form and create a new entry. If you do, you will be billed for two entries.
- To find your entry, go to your menu at the top and click on MY ENTRIES
How to fill out the Therapists' Form
Most of the fields are self-explanatory, but the reason why we specify how to complete the fields for consistency and to ensure your entry shows up well in search results.
The picture - Please use a single jpeg or png picture head picture file that your clients can use to recognise you. Note - if you don't complete the form fully and attempt to submit, the picture will be dropped and you will need to attach it again before submitting.
- Name - Your first and last name, in that order.
- When did you start providing autism therapy - Select the year you first began doing so.
- Email address - An email address at which we and your clients can reach you.
- Qualifications - Your academic qualifications. Please put one per line.
- Phone - A number at which we and your clients can reach you.
- More about me and my practice - Please provide an overview of the work you do, the types of therapy you offer, and the types of autism practice you have. Note: this field is limited to 1600 characters (around 200 words) and requires at least 300 characters to be completed (around 30 words).
- Types or modalities of treatment offered - Please select all that you offer. These show up in filtered search and allow people searching for a particular type of therapy to more easily find you.
- Are you a psychiatrist - Yes/No for qualified psychiatrists
- For psychiatrists - if you can provide the Medical Type A5 certificate, please indicate that you provide this service - it is a yes/no radio button choice.
- Do you do evaluations - Yes/No for the fișa de evaluare psihologică? Your website - This must be a site you own, not a listing elsewhere and full URL is needed, including http:// or https://
- Your address in text - We ask for your address twice - as text and for Google maps (next field). The text in this field is indexed for site search and external Search results crawlers.
- Your Google Maps address - This field maps to a Google maps pushpin on the site that can be used for people wanting to search visually using the maps feature. It can also be used for directions.
When you have completed the form, click on the SUBMIT button. At that point, if all of the fields were correctly and fully completed, the site will publish an entry. You can find your entry in the very top menu at My Entries.
Note - Dinspectru.Ro does not automatically make visible new entries to site visitors who are not logged in. Entries are reviewed by site staff before being switched to Public access, if there are no questions.
Editing your entry
You can edit your entry at any point. To do so, log in first. Once logged in, if you want to change your entry, do not fill out the form again. You will be billed twice. Instead, navigate to your entry (very top menu) and click on the edit button at your entry.
Clicking on the edit button will load all of the fields you completed and you can change or update them. Make the edits you wanted, and once you are done, to save your edits, click on the SUBMIT button. Note - it will not close the page, however it will save your changes. You can then make further changes. When you are done, click on SUBMIT one final time. When the page successfully saves your data it will produce a message at the top telling you that it has:
When you see that message 'The entry was successfully saved!', scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the BACK button. It will close the editing page and show the entry in finished format as it will look like to the public.
Note - it will not yet be visible to the public - it must first be reviewed by Dinspectru.Ro staff and approved for publication. If there is an issue, a question that needs resolving, or should we have a suggestion for improving the entry, we will contact you. Please whitelist email from the dinspectru.ro domain so that it doesn't end in your spam folder.
Error messages
If the form was not fully completed or the new edits did not meet field standards - example - numbers in an email field or a link that is not a full URL in the website field, the site will flag your entry with an error message:
That error message tells you there is a problem, but not where it is. To find where the errors are, scroll down the page, and the site will show you which field or fields that have failed. The field will be highlighted in red:
Fix the highlighted fields and click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom.
When you have obtained a blue message 'The entry was successfully saved', scroll to the bottom and click on the BACK button to see how it will look to public visitors after it has been reviewed and approved by Dinspectru.Ro staff.
